Hi friends and family!!!!
I am here!!! This is so exciting to finally be on The World Race! After an amazing week with my family in the Smoky Mountains we drove the rest of the way to Georgia to drop me off! So much has happened so here we go with the updates.
First and most excitingly (as of the beginning of the summer) . . . I am fully funded!! Going into this mission work I knew that God would provide for me, however I did not expect it all to happen so quickly. I am so thankful for all of your donations.
If you donated to me directly (instead of through the website) your donations went into vaccines (most of which were not covered by insurance), malaria pills, a tent, rain covers for my packs, random supplies, and other expenses that will come up while out on the field.
My squad and I have spent our first bit of time together here in Gainsville Georgia on the Adventures in Missions campus. During this time we have been getting to know each other, worshiping, learning about different cultures, praying, studying the Bible, taking bucket showers, doing laundry outside, and so much more.

Here are also some answers to some common questions I have been getting . . .
I will be away for the entire 9 months, I will not be able to come home for Christmas or anything else. However my parents do get to come visit me and come alongside me and serve with me in March in Guatemala.
I am unsure at the moment how often I will be able to contact home. There should be wifi in most places but I will just take it one day at a time 🙂
The best way to follow along with what God is doing is right here on my blog. Please make sure you subscribe and tell other people about the incredible ways God is working.
There are 34 people on my squad traveling around with me to the same places. Within my squad we have teams, my team has 6 girls in it. We break down into these teams to do more specific ministry in each of these places. To see the people on my squad you can go to the World Race website and find the 2022 Activation squad.
Thank you again so much for all your support. I am so excited to continue this journey.
So excited for you Anna! I love how often you use the word tentative 🙂 Let Him do His thing!! And remember Ephesians 3:20! Now to Him who is able
So excited for your adventure and look forward to seeing your updates! Love you!??
